mike decides to help his girlfriend detox, he gets her through it and drug free ,but she decides she needs to be independent so breaks up with mike and moves to another city. Mike is distraught but gets over it and goes out with another nurse called beanie. About a year later jean(Mikes girlfriend) comes back and he leaves with her.

mckenzie choat realised oscar had come concious again and was worried he was going to tell the police it was her who attacked him and took all the shortland street money. So mckenzie put a bomb in oscars room, which killed him and rachel got badely hurt in the fire as she thought waverly was in the building and went to look for her. After doing that she went home to get luke and leave the country but Luke wouldn't go. Mckenzie left without luke and thinking she had all the money but greg put fake notes under a layer of real ones.

I'm in England and have just missed three weeks' worth of Shortland Street and am desperate to find out what I missed. I think it's early 2000 as we just had a plot about Frank and Christmas hampers. Maria's just taken over as clinic boss and pregnant Aleesha (Alisha? Allysha?) has told Frank it's his baby. Greg Feeney's back and Caroline's just slept with him. I've just watched today's episode and Caroline is now pregnant by Greg, Dean and Moira are engaged and a new character Tamsin (?) is in it. Can you help? Any help would be appreciated.

Aleesha is actually pregnant to Fergus....however Frank thinks it his baby so lets aleesha stay with him and she takes advantage of him. Cant remember exactly what happens but it ends up being Ferguses baby......however Aleesha ends up loseing the baby and its Jims fault and Alesha can never have babies again and she leaves.
Caroline and Greg leave together to start a new life with the baby cos Greg has to leave town or he will get killed. Laura is devastated at losing Caroline. Tamsin goes out with Jim but then Jim and Kate realise they have feelings but i think Tamsin gets in first and breaks up with Jim. I think they tried Shortland street already in Australia but Australia didn't like it much with dismal ratings. Neighbours and Home and Away were too big for shortland st to survive.

Laura and Carolines relationship doesn't work out, Caroline gets pregnant to Greg and leaves with him to start a new life so as Greg doesn't get killed as he is in alot of trouble.

Nick Miller was born in 1980, so he is about 21, he has also been on "the tribe 3", "street legal" and "Jacksons Wharf".
On Shortland Street he was portrayed as quite gay, he wasn't actually gay I don't think, but he was a fashion designer and he was picked on at school for being a pansy. He designed Minnies ball dress and Ellens wedding dress.

Hi, baby Rose was about 1year old I think when she died, Elllen and David don't leave for Hawkes Bay till quite a long time after the death of Rose. As after Rose dies David and Ellen fall apart from each other, and David has quite a long relationship with Bridgit ;and Ellen has a fling with Rangi.

I havnt had much time to think about it but, when the receptionists (eg Moira and Caroline) answer the phone they answer with Kiaroa.
Lionel would quite often use the word cozy which is quite a kiwi word
In the coffee shop there used to be teatowels of Taranaki and Waverly used to serve lamingtons which are a real kiwi food
When Awhi and Rangi found pieces of wood under Lionels house Awhi was saying its Tapu that she could see the Kowhaiwhai patterns.
When is your project due as I did a project on that myself and I can try and find it for you or at least try and think of more things

Caroline and Lauras relationship discintegrated when it was discovered the father of Carolines baby was Greg, Caroline had a one night thing with Greg while her and Laura were together. Originally Laura and Caroline decided they were going to bring up the baby together.........however Greg got shot and was in danger of dying and Caroline got close to him again, Greg was in grave danger if he stayed where he was so had to run away and make a new start, he told Caroline he wouldn't run away as he wanted to stay for the baby so Caroline ran away with him.

Hi, Kirsty left to go live in Wellington with Damien Nielson. He got very bad burns and was in a very critical condition and was moving to Wellington to go to the burns ward there and to be close to his mum Marj. Kirsty decided she loved him and that he was a good person so made a huge decision to go with him and take care of him. She took off in a helicopter with Lionel a minute too late to say goodbye and tell her he still loved her. Lionel watched as the helicopter soared off in the sky.

I agree with your concern, as many people I know are finding shortland street is not as good anymore and are stopping watching it. I think they made a big mistake getting rid of so many familiar faces. I am like you to I have watched every episode since the beginning but now I don't think I would be to bothered if I did miss an episode. Maybe once everyone gets familiar with all the new faces and better storylines come in it might pick up.

However in the lonely nights Chris married his ex fiance Alision Reiner so him and Tiffany got divorced. I am a bit confused at the moment with the circumstances of Rangis death. But I am sure it is not suicide as originally thought. Bascially I think that Rangi had been dating another woman- Adrianna as Donna could not provide a child which is what he really wanted. He also was having money problems, probably made worse by the expensive IFV clinic treatment Rangi was paying for Donna. So he went to the loan shark and his debt got bigger. My suspicions are Kim might have found out Rangi was having a relationship with his separated wife and as he is violent he decided to get rid of him. However it could have something to do with the loan shark people. But I think Rangi was definitely murdered,

I don't know if they will do reruns of the show from the beginning, they do in New Zealand, so you never know.
Lionel still hasn't come back and I don't think he will now because most of the characters when he was on have left. The only people he would know if he came back now would be Nick, Waverly, Rachel and Donna

I was really pleased to see Rachel McKenna and Chris Warner back in the show, and some of the other new characters are cool too, but I was sad to see Moira and Kate go. Hopefully there will be plenty of good storylines for the future.
